In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of leading social apps on the Android platform in Colombia showcased interesting trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced varying patterns in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

TikTok Lite - Save Data & Fast saw a significant increase in downloads, peaking at approximately 353K in early June. Its weekly revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of about $243 in the last week of June. Active users also showed a steady increase, peaking at around 2.9M at the end of the quarter.

TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE maintained a strong presence with weekly revenue consistently around the $46K mark, peaking at $51K in mid-June. Downloads surged to about 176K in mid-May, and active users remained robust, averaging over 13.5M throughout the quarter.

Facebook Lite experienced a steady increase in downloads, reaching 145K in late May. Despite not generating revenue, its active user base remained strong, with around 3M users by the end of June.

Instagram saw consistent revenue growth, ending the quarter at approximately $13K. Downloads peaked at over 119K in mid-May, and active users held steady, averaging over 16M weekly.

Facebook experienced a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $10K by the end of June. Downloads were strong, peaking at 106K in mid-May, while active users remained stable at around 18M.
